Follow me on my journey of becoming a single mother by choice. #choicemom
My name is Molly and I grew up in an amazing family. Parents married over 35 years and still best friends, a brother a year and a half...
It’s been difficult to find the time to write. By the end of the day I am exhausted and it’s hard to think straight! Indy is doing great! He is so busy all the time discovering new things.
I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since I’ve updated. Time is going too fast and now indy is 17 months! He is super confident walking, or should I say running and he just wants to be outside from the time he wakes up until it’s time for bed.
Now that indy is one he keeps me more busy than ever. Hence the fewer entries of our journey. I toyed with the idea of not continuing to write but I believe in fate that I was meant to continue. I received an email from a girl contemplating the same path towards motherhood as I chose.
It feels like yesterday I went into labor and you arrived. I will never forget that day. My world changed in the best way possible. I felt this love that was so powerful and so connected It’s indescribable.
I can’t believe in just a couple weeks my baby will be one. I love seeing the development and all the stages he goes through but at the same time I get sad on how fast time goes by.
The process of finding a replacement nanny for Indy was overwhelming but I think I have found someone that really cares for him.
I was worried this day would come. Our nanny that took so long to find and Trust is leaving us. I am so devastated. The process of finding her was torcher! I finally felt comfortable knowing indy was in good hands and I feel like finding that again is going to be impossible.
As if once wasn’t enough the woman that was extremely opinionated about the path I took to have a baby continued to speak her mind. I’ve known her for years and my parents as well from the gym they go to. But she came in to ask how the baby was and who had him. Since my first run in with her I stopped engaging so much with her.
I can’t believe how fast time is going. My little boy is getting so big! He started to army crawl and is moving around like a pin ball! It was time to baby proof my house because before I knew it he was across the room. It seems like I have every toy for him to play with but he only goes for the wires and outlets!
I can’t believe Indy is already 6 months and we started solids! I first gave him avocado and he gagged some but seem to want more. It’s so overwhelming because I don’t know where to begin with what to give him.
